The glory boys, my storm troopers. When I originally came up for the list for my force, it was mechanised and so my two troop slots were taken up with storm troopers in chimeras. With the new codex, the chimeras have been passed on the infantry company and these boys are going to be mounted in valkyries.
My long term goal will be to build the company up to 5 squads of ten, led by a commissar lord all mounted in valkyries, but I'm a long way off from that, at the moment, I've got a command squad and two complete squads.

Beautiful Storm Trooper platoon! I'm digging the sergeant conversions, and I really like the purple power coils on the plasma: it really pops!
I was just looking over my own STs (of the Inquisitorial variety) and wondering how I could use the new IG 'dex to make a small tabletop force of these elite warriors. Looks doable by using carapace armored Vets as Troops and maxing out my Elites and Fast Attack with STs and Valks.
Thanks mate
great work, they look brilliant all finshed
Superb paint job!
I really like the appearance of your stormies.

Cheers mate.
These guys are stunning. Great work!
It's hard to express how happy this makes a part of me - thanks for sharing!
And Jonathan: you can also tool-up an HQ squad in a similar way with carapace armour if you want a regular - rather than commissariat - chain of command. Just a thought.
Thanks Elazar.
There's nothing quite like a well turned out parade is there Drax? :-)
I haven't played 40K in years, but was always an IG player from my very first Rogue Trader days.
You sir, make the Imperial Guard look like an army.
Any tips on making stowage on vehicles look so good. I work in 15mm but can never seem to get the arrangements to look right.

I can't believe I only looked at these now, they're truly awesome! Excellent work!
I just love that company commander and the color scheme in general.
@Eli - thanks mate, best suggestion is just try to go with what looks natural. If you wouldn't stack something in a particular way in real life, thendon't do it on the model. I find google images is great for inspiration.
@Hal - Thanks mate, glad you liked them.
That HQ Commander head swap is sweet. Where did you get the head?
Looks awesome!
It's from the Baneblade sprue mate. All I did was cut the bobble of the eye piece.
