I have a problem ......
I've run out of transfers for my guard tanks and I desperately need some more Imperial Guard Tank transfer sheets. Trust me to find out I've run out of transfers just as I come to do the transfers - doh!
I've checked ebay but for the odd individual sheet, the p&p makes it silly. If any of you bloggers out there can help, please drop me a line at colcorbane@gmail.com
Thanks in advance.
UPDATED - Well, I posted this last thing last night, got up this morning and I had four guys email me with offers. Big thanks to Drax, RoguePom, Craig and Paul. You've got to love the blogging community. No more offer please guys, I think I've got it covered now :-)

The Secret Project
As I'm almost finished with a few of my current projects, my mind has been working overtime with what to do next. I've already blogged about my upcoming special ops force which I'm quite looking forward to but I like to have a couple of projects on the go, so I can flick between things as and when it suits me.
So, I've been thinking about an alternative project to go along with my spec op force. I've actually managed to come up with a few ideas, but one has risen to the top.
Now, I'm not going to tell you what the final outcome will be, but I'm imagining that some of you will guess. If you do, please don't post it on my comments, drop me a line and I'll let you know if you're right (I'm thinking of you here Drax ;-). It's more of a theme than a model but it will end up as a unit that doesn't really belong in the game but it does.
Bet that's got you confused!
I'll be starting it pretty soon and hopefully have it done before xmas. In the meantime I've got a few things I want to get finished. The Vanquisher is about 60% done, I've got another couple of hours to do on the company command squad and it occurred to me last night that I've forgotten to do the medics for my command squads.Once they're finished, it's a couple more heavy weapons squads, an executioner and I'm ready to start the new projects.

Forward Planning
I'm starting to come to the end of a few projects, they've sort have snuck up on me without me realising. I only have a squad of ten and 6 heavy weapon teams to finish off 2nd Platoon. With the advisers done, I've only got the command squad troopers to finish of the Company Command Squad, and I'm working on those now. Even my Armoured Assault Company is almost done, after the vanquisher, I've got a executioner to do and it's done for the foreseeable future.
So, my mind has been wondering, trying to think of what to work on next. Veterans? Valkyrie squadrons? Amphibious force? Artillery? So many choices, but I think I've got it. I picked these up in a trade last year.
In total, there's 10 officers, 35 lasgunners, 27 special weapons, 6 heavy weapons teams, one sentinel standin (I built that) and one centaur standin. I reckon I can build a pretty good special forces unit on of them. I'm basing it around a company command squad, a couple of stealth vets with lascannons offering long range support. A platoon based around Al'rahem, that can outflank supported by two special weapons squads with demo and melta. Add in Harker with demo vets for some tank hunting and Marbo and the snipers for good measure.
After my recent adventures in sculting, I can see quite a bit more sculpting in this force, especially as I've got at least 40 camo cloaks to do and I'm putting webbing and berets on them.
I reckon I'll end up with quite a good lighting strike force.
So, what do you think guys? Am I mad? Inspired? Disillusioned? Love to hear your thoughts.

Leman Russ Vanquisher WIP
Well, I may have been distracted by my recent project for little man's school but I have managed to get some work done on my Guard. Here's the latest addition for 152 Armoured Assault Company, a Vanquisher.
I picked up some FW turrets when I was at Warhammer World back in May. The hull was a trade with a friend, it needed quite a bit of work as it was badly put together, but it should be fine once it's painted up. A quick word about the FW turrets, the notch that fits into the russ hull is smaller than the hole, so I added a couple of strips of thin plasticard to widen it a little. The green stuff is just to keep the turret level as the cannon forced it to tilt forwards a little.
I'm also working on a few models to finish the company command squad. I'm trying to tie up as many units as possible so I can get stuck into my veteran platoon, hopefully, it won't take to long as I only have 6 heavy weapons teams and a ten man squad to finish 2nd platoon, making it a full platoon with over 100 models.
More coming soon.

TEOMP 4 and the School Project.
OK, I'm sorry for how late this is but I've been having net problems and this is the first chance I've had to post these.
Admiral Drax came up with this objective marker.
Defending Humanity came up with this IG command squad.
Gloranthan Army amazed us all with these
Anything but a One came up with this
Unfortunately, I didn't complete this challenge, in truth, I didn't really start it. I was working hard on the school project I put myself up for. Here's some finished pics of the first piece, I know the colours are a bit Balamory but it is for 4yr olds.

Finally, one of my painting team getting well stuck in!
I'm already working on the next one based on a village, I'll post some pics as I get more done. I'm also trying to keep my hand in on the 40k side as well. I've just finished putting together a vanquisher, so I'll be posting pics of that tomorrow.

OOPS - Dropped a ******!
OK, so a while ago, I agreed to help out my little man's school and build some diorama's. Well, I got a bit distracted with work and other stuff and I didn't get anything really done on them over the summer break. Little man went back to school on Monday and Monday night, I got stuck in to making the first of three diorama's.
The first is a town, I know the scale is a bit iffy in places, but it was a rush job with no plans and it's for a class of four year olds, so hopefully, they'll be more forgiving than a few terrain forums I know. Here's what I've got so far .....
I'll start painting it up tonight, so it should be done ready to drop off at the school on Monday. I'll post some pics over the weekend. I reckon I'll be able to complete one a week, I'm a little concerned about the TOEMP's but this has to come first. Hopefully, I'll find a little 40k hobby time but I might have to skip a challenge to get these done.

Six months in.
It's gone so fast, my first six months of blogging.
I started blogging on the 3rd of March as a way of finding my only little piece of the web. I'd been posting on a few forums, but I was getting disillusioned with posts I spend ages on just dropping of the bottom. I also got fed up with the forum personalities, you know, the guys who've got 3000 posts and no army or the mods who think they're some sort of internet gods. So, I wondered into blogging.
I never imagined that I'd enjoy it so much, having a little place of the web is all well and good, but it's the community (Thanks Ron) that has me hooked. Without the FTW group, this blog would probably just have a couple of visitors, instead it's easily exceeded my expectations.
Have any of you noticed how there's no bitching or superior asshats on any of the blogs. In six months, I've never seen a single nasty comment. Sure, I've seen negitative ones, but only as genuine constructive critism, never nasty like the forums. I think it's becuase in the main, bloggers are a bit more grown up about their hobby.
So, here's a big shout out to the rest of your bloggers, YES - I mean YOU, the guy who's reading this right now, yes YOU! - lol
Thanks to my followers, 76 so far (wow), thanks to everyone who's taken time to post comments on my blog, thanks to all you invisible readers just for taking the time to have a nose. Big thanks to Ron who is the glue that holds us all together. Finally, a big thank you to all those other bloggers who I follow and those I don't, thank you for providing me with more information and inspiration in a day than I get from white dwarf in a year.

Regimental Advisors
I've never really liked the current GW advisors, there's various reasons why but the most important one in my eyes is that other than the Master of Ordinance, they don't really fit with my force.
So, with that in mind, I decided to come up with my own as part of the latest TOEMP challenge. I wanted to keep pushing myself, so with that in mind, I decided that I wanted each one to tell a story so to speak, I also wanted to give fuse wire ago.
This is what I came up with .....
I see these guys co-ordinating the special forces operating behind the lines delaying the enemies reinforcements.

Forward Spotter (MoO)
Signals Detachment (Astropath)
I quite pleased with this one as it involved the most wire work, I really had to think how I was going to pull this off. I haven't thought that hard about cables since I was in the signals - lol.
Hope you like them guys, I'm starting to paint them tonight, so wip pics coming soon.
