Doc Butchers victim finished

Here's the first bit of hobby goodness for 2010. I'm pretty pleased with how he's turned out, and he was really fun to put together. Overall, I think I like the wound and surgical sheet the most both in sculpting it and painting it.

It's not the only thing I've been working on, the sentinel halftrack is coming together nicely and should be finished for next week. Also on the hobby front, the Corbanian 1st went to war last night, I got a game in at the local club. I played against nids and wiped the floor with them.

I'd like to say that it was due to my tactical brilliance but in truth, Dunc had some pretty poor dice rolls and just couldn't stop my armour. He was also playing nids and I know from experience that they suffer against armour anyway, so it was an up hill struggle for Dunc from the start

But, a win is a win, so it's a good start to 2010 nonetheless.

Congrats on the win. Was he using the new Nid codex rules or the current ones?

Doc Buthers victim looks awesome.

Really liking the victim, and can't wait to see the ambulance. You'll have to bring these down to the club transport permitting. :-D

Excellent victim- you should use him as either an objective or (more hilariously) a bodyguard in games.

Excellent work on the victim. Remind me never to go to your aid station for treatment.
I am really looking forward to some close-ups of your sentinel half-track.
Oh, and congrats on the win!

As the rest, good work on the casualty, its really characterful!

I also love the picture of your armour arrayed on the battlefield, it looks really impressive.

Cheers guys

@SW - Old rules mate, last game of that codex for Dunc.

@Draz - I'll bring them down one night mate.

@Max - I don't think they'll ever hit the table mate, although I might bang a MASH skirmish scenario together for a laugh.

@MG - I've almost finished it, so it should be up on the blog next week mate.

@SS - Must admit, I like seeing the armour deployed for war.

Absolutely beautiful paint job, and the whole model turned out great! I definitely have to try my hand at something similar for an objective marker.

Inspiring work once again!

Cheers guys, I'm sure they'll find their way onto the tabletop at some point.

I love the look of your army, and the surgical patient is superb. Would make a good stratagem marker in Cities of Death.
