ORDERS - The Colonel gets a posting!

News from the front, the great Ronissah has called and the Colonel has answered. I'll be taking up a position as chief scenery adviser to the From The Warp 40k battlegroup.

In truth, I emailed him about bring my passion for scenery to FTW, and we've had a bit or back and forth figuring out what would be best and so I'll be bringing the community all sorts of scenery related posts to help improve battlegrounds across the blogging community.

Keep your eyes peeled for my intro post coming tomorrow!

Awesome! I too love building scenery. Feel free to take any ideas from my terrain posts on my blog: some of my better ones are my tank traps, and my cork-tile building ruins.

Great stuff! Can't wait to get some more great tips, considering my recent fiasco...

I'm just glad the Col. is willing to share his passion for the hobby and allow me to showcase it on FTW.

I'm a real scenery freak too, but most of mine was built before i started with the inquisition army i started my blog for. I've still tried to carry that through with some of my basing though. and one day i'll get around to that city board i keep threatening to do.

I look forward to your contributions to FTW :)

Looking forward to seeing what comes from this, recently purchased a book on Terrain. There are things in it that I'd never imagined using as terrain, such as split peas and mod-rock.

I guess you do need to build to terrain... so your men can cower behind as the might of Chaos smashes your front lines. :-p
