What doesn't kill you makes you stronger

Well, it's been an interesting month with some drastic changes in our life but I wanted to put up a quick post to let you know that I'm still around albeit the hobby side has taken an extreme nose dive.

Life's kicked us in the nuts and it looks like the next couple of years are going to be pretty rough but as they say, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger. So, expect to see me in the Olympic powerlifting competition sometime in the future.

Hobby wise, I haven't even unpacked my paints since the move, there's just too much going on but I'm hoping I can do a little over the next month and if I can, I'll post late in the month. So until then, keep gaming, painting and blogging guys, what you post is helping get me through the rough times, so thanks.

Col

Sorry to hear you are having difficulties, things are fairly shit my end too, but then I guess that's what escapist hobbies are for :)

Keep your head up mate.

Sorry to hear that Col. - I've been checking your blog every day, waiting for news. I wish you the best of luck, and hopefully things start looking up sooner rather than later.

All the best, mate.

Well, I've been through a dark place and although life's going to be difficult, I'm stepping back into the light.

As my good mate Tolgarthlogan says, you shouldn't punish yourself for your problems, you should reward yourself for dealing with your problems.

So, thanks for your support guys and expect to see something I think you'll like coming real soon.

Thanks again guys :-)

I don't know how many of you guys will actually see this comment, I mean it has been almost 3 years but I just wanted to let you know, I did it.

Thanks for your support guys, back then and now. I couldn't do it without you. Genuinely, the hobby has been a grail for me these past years and a good part of it was the interaction and friendliness of the blogosphere.

So, thanks again guys, if you're still around, give me a shout!
