Found this whilst browsing, think it says it all :-
We are the Imperial Guard. We have bad rules, poor stats and overpriced units.
We have lost a turn of shooting, half the capability of our armour and any pretence of fairness.
Despite this we have thrived, we have adapted and we have prospered.
We are the Imperial Guard, this is what we do best, WE DIE STANDING.
In May 2009, all of this changes.
Where once we stumbled, now we will stride.
We will show you what a true general can do.
