Something Big

Well, I did say I was getting a bit bored with infantry, so it's time for the big guns. I've finally undercoated my hell hammer. Now it's time to get a bucket of codex grey and a big brush.

Glad to see you back posting dude, was wondering if you'd fallen down a well and skippy was on holiday or something. I'm like the tank in all fairness, although I doubt I'll like it when I'm up against it. :-p

What I was wondering, as I've never painted a tank before and now have 3 rhino's, have you any tips? I've heard that brush marks on the flat surfaces is a common issue.

Keep your basecoat really thinned down. It might take a couple of coats to get it base coated but you won't have any brush strokes.

Also, when you wash it, use your spray gun. It you use a brush, it comes off streaky.

Catch ya at the club mate and you still need to let me know what models you need for the challenge.

I need to Get me one of these. Looks good though.

If you have an airbrush it mkes for an even and good looking paintjob, ive never run washes through them but it prolly would look good, remeber to work those crevices helps with the shadowed look.
